‘Insta-Mold’ is a fully Work Cover approved ‘direct moulded’ custom hearing protection earplug offering up to SNR 28dB of protection and can be used in the Industrial, Motorsports, Shooting, Hunting, Music and Watersports sectors as tested under the Australian Standard AS/NZS1270-2002.

‘Insta-Mold’ enables hearing protection to be made on-site, without lab facilities, in as little as 1 hour. The floating medical grade Insta-Mold silicone’s are available in multiple colour combinations. Each pair of ‘Insta-Mold’ earplugs are finished with a hygienic gloss lacquer finish, acoustic filter options, safety leash options and supplied with a storage pouch and client care instructions.

Insta-Mold® Solid Full Shell

This is the standard ‘Insta-Mold’ custom hearing protector. It is fully Work Cover approved and offer the only “made on the spot” Class 5 custom hearing protectors that meet and comply with the Australian Standards AS/NZS1270. The solid full shell provides the highest level of sound attenuation within the ‘Insta-Mold’ range at SNR 28dB and is suitable for most applications. The product can be supplied in a range of colours and is provided with a storage pouch, fitting guide and client care instructions as standard.

Insta-Mold® Filtered Full Shell

The filtered ‘Insta-Mold’ custom hearing protector offers increased awareness of environmental sounds due to a lower sound attenuation than the standard solid fit.

The ‘Insta-Mold’ filtered full shell provides a sound attenuation of SNR 25dB enabling conversation and warning sounds to be heard whilst also protecting from injurious noise. The product can be supplied in a range of colours and is provided with a storage pouch, fitting guide and client care instructions as standard.

Used as a sleeping aid should your partner snore, or to cut out background noise on long flights to enable sleep, they may also be used on a train when commuting or to help reduce noise when trying to catch 40 winks whilst having an afternoon nap!

The individually fashioned ear protector made from skin-friendly silicone sits securely in the ear. It may also be equipped with an acoustic filter, should you choose to remain aware of certain sounds even during your rest period.

Snag-free Safety Leashes and Graphics

The ‘Insta-Mold’ earplugs can feature a safe, snag-free, breakaway design that prevents the wearer of the hearing protection from becoming snagged within machinery. The breakaway design will release the leash from the hearing protectors ensuring that the hearing protector will remain in place.

For the food and drinks industry, traceable safety leashes can be fitted along with metal tracer balls to ensure that the hearing protection can be detected.
